You? Are You Ready To Fly?
We have many Life Scouts. One of the biggest regrets
we hear from adult Scouters is that they did not finish their
Eagle. Don't wait for the impending 18th birthday to scare you
into doing your Eagle project. Don't know where to start?
Here's the quick and dirty of
getting started:
- Pick an Eagle Coach
- Bring your idea in writing
to the Scoutmaster for approval
- Work with Eagle Coach on
City, School or Church approvals, and fleshing out the
plan
- When ready bring the project
proposal back to the Scoutmaster for review and approval. If
changes are needed, correct and bring back to him.
- A
majority of the Eagle Board, which is made up of the coaches,
the SM and the Committee Chair, must review and approve
all Projects.
You and your coach are now on your
way to a successful project.
Remember it's the planning and leadership, not the amount
of physical work. Good luck and GET BUSY.
